New Mexican Food in Berlin. Tempting…

Anyone who drops by here with any regularity knows we’re more than a little obsessed with Mexican food. So… it is with great pleasure that we read this, from Claudia, in the comments:

I went to a new Mexican food place, and not that I’m an authority on food or anything, but coming from Mexico I can say it is a little piece of home :) I loved the food. They are on Danziger Strasse 33.

The destination is Maria Bonita, and the folks from Toytown seem to be excited too. We haven’t tried it yet, but, um… we’ll be right back…

Thanks for the tip, Claudia! If anyone else has tried this place, let us know in the comments.

    good eats!

  2. My pleasure :)

I’ve heard they recently changed the menu and they added cheviche… must have it!

    Saludos-

  3. I was there on Wednesday and it was indeed awesome and delicious and so forth. The people who work there are also great and let you use the loo that is clearly just for staff not stupid customers who can’t hold their Corona.

  4. MariaBonita was allright although the portions were too tiny, i have my mexican food delivered by La Tortilla Atomica
and eat 3 days out of one two people order,

La tortilla Atomica delivers superlecker Mexican food and the maiz tortillas are sooooo good i recommend widely

  5. Maybe the food’s good there; I don’t know because we never went inside. We got as far as the front window, saw that it looks like a seedy bar with no place to sit down and eat comfortably, and turned on our heels and went back to the car. The quest for a good Mexican restaurant in Berlin goes on.
